Hi there! Welcome to TravelGram by Stephanie or by me :)

These are the reasons I love Penang as much as my originated hometown. One more special thing - this time I'm also gonna show you my #OOTD recommendation!

You have been walking so long under the sun? You are feeling tired? A trishaw is a good solution for you!
The three-wheeled trishaw used to be a common sight on the island, but modern times have nearly phased them out. Today, they exist as a novelty for tourists to enjoy. Trishaw is the most flexible means of transportation around the city, allowing you to make a few stops along the way and shop for souvenirs while touring the city. You can find plenty of trishaws around the capital city of Georgetown, especially next to Cititel Hotel on Jalan Penang and along the Esplanade near Fort Cornwallis (Jalan Tun Syed Sheh Barakbah). Be sure to ask and agree on a price first before you board one, but not to worry, prices are always negotiable (although it is always better to tip your trishaw peddler generously for their laborious effort alone).

Beach Street, or Lebuh Pantai, is one of the oldest streets in George Town, Penang. It was built as early as 1786 or 1787, subsequent to Light Street, to be the main commercial street of the newly established George Town. Beach Street is older and has been around longer than many of the towns on the Malayan Peninsula including Singapore, Taiping, Ipoh and Kuala Lumpur. Unlike arrow-straight Light Street, Beach Street was built to follow the curve of the beach, which was then right beside it. The result, as can be seen to this day, is a meandering street as it makes its way towards the southern hinterland. Today both streets meet at the Light Street Roundabout.

Now, let's go to the most waiting part!

Part 2

OOTD Recommendation

When it comes to choosing my outfits, I like to keep things plain and simple. That is also one of the reason I choose jeans as one of my favorite #ootd. I do love the combination of jeans and tee shirt! They are so adorable and make me look more dynamic than ever.
A modern and basic denim mini skirt with simple tee shirt combo do go well with open toe sandals. More than that, that combination does not only make you active but also girly in somehow.

This look is one of my all season go-to’s because it’s easy, cute, and can be mixed and matched with so many pieces you probably forgot you had! All it takes is a simple denim skirt, a tee shirt, a pair of sandals, and a cross bag!
It’s also the best because you can get it for under RM60 (excluding the shoes and accessory) at stores like Padini Concept Store or H&M. I just bought my denim skirt for RM39.90 from Padini Concept Store. Along with a simple tee shirt from Thailand night market for RM13 or you can get it at any stores likes Monki, H&M, Mango and etc.
Toss on a pair of your favorite sandals (I have on Open Toe Sandals by Charles and Keith), add a  cross bag, and an accessory such as bracelet (like this one from Daniel Wellington) and you’re well on your way!

A dynamic outfit can comfort me anyway and sandals can make me happy all the time!

My favorite photo because my legs look longer!
Another feature makes me love Penang is...there are a lot of coffee shops!
